4. Kim Sladek, Westwood
The 5-foot-7-inch junior Sladek was an honorable mention District 16-5A player last season and finished with 448 digs. That was splitting time with the person who just missed this list, Angela Yu, who had 419 digs. Sladek and Yu, a senior, will likely play similar roles this season.

The versatile Sladek earned an all-district honors last season when she averaged almost five digs per set and helped the Warriors advance to the area round of the Class 5A playoffs.
